Coffee Health Effects

Coffee health effects have been the subject of many studies over the years with some more recent results concluding that coffee may not be as bad for you as first thought in the past.

As with most things that we eat and drink, the old maxim of everything in moderation applies to coffee as well. Too many cups in a day, especially where the caffeine content is high, can lead to headaches, nervousness and anxiety. On the other hand some health benefits attributed to coffee include protection against liver cancer, type 2 diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.

Although coffee by itself may not be so bad for you, some of the added extras such as cream and sugar will add to your calorie and fat intake.
