According to a new study to be published in the 25 June 2008 edition of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, you may only need to smell the rich aroma of coffee to send a wake up call to the brain rather than drink it.

Britain's Costa Coffee Commits to Sustainably Grown Coffee Beans

Britain's Costa Coffee have announced plans to convert its entire coffee bean supply to sustainably grown beans sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms by 2010. The Rainforest Alliance is an independent, international non-profit NGO that works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behaviour.

Fairtrade Coffee Price Increase for Small Scale Coffee Growers
