PJ’s Coffee, founded in New Orleans in 1978, today announces it is further aligning itself with its Big Easy heritage by formally assuming the brand, PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans. The New Orleans reference will begin to make its way in stores this fall starting with a new line of coffee packaging and coinciding with the 28-year anniversary of the concept. Look for four very distinct, very nostalgic coffee bags featuring images known around the world as classic New Orleans.

Costa Cofee, the UK’s fastest growing coffee chain and part of Whitbread PLC, today announced a deal that will see the coffee brand expand into China.

Whitbread PLC has agreed a Joint Venture agreement with Chinese partner Yueda Group to launch the Costa brand in Shanghai and Eastern China. The first Costa store is scheduled to open in early 2007 and the aim is to open over 300 Costa stores throughout China in the next few years.
