Creamy Irish Coffee Recipe

INGREDIENTS - Makes 4 Servings

Coffee

  • 4 Cups of Hot Fresh Black Strong Coffee
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar - Brown or White
  • 1/2 Cup Irish Whiskey (Scotch Whiskey or Bourbon is OK)

Topping

  • 1 Cup Fresh Whipping Cream (Not Synthetic Cream)
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sugar - Brown or White
  • 2 Tablespoons of Irish Whiskey

PREPERATION

Topping

  • Whip 1 Cup of Fresh Whipping Cream until light and fluffy
  • Beat in 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of Irish Whiskey

Coffee

  • Put 4 cups of Hot Fresh Black Coffee in saucepan
  • Add 1/4 Cup of Sugar
  • Add 1/2 Cup of Irish Whiskey
  • Heat thoroughly but DO NOT Boil
  • Pour coffee into four heatproof glass mugs or goblets
  • Spoon flavoured cream on top
  • DO NOT stir the coffee after adding the cream- Drink the coffee through the cream
